Born from the international design competition “Futura – La scuola di domani” foreseen by the PNRR Education.

The new school center of Villa Ferro in the Municipality of Fidenza includes a total of 18 classrooms (15 for primary school and 3 for middle school), 4 labs, 4 versatile spaces without fixed layout for subjects such as art, music and IT, 2 open libraries without walls, spaces for teaching management, a canteen, a gym with changing rooms and showers, as well as a park equipped for educational and sports activities.

Our idea is that of an innovative school, characterized by incredible environmental sustainability, and created according to the principles of “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH).

The typological simplicity favors the reading of the spaces and optimizes natural lighting, opens the classrooms towards the external garden and hides the technological complexity integrated into the architecture. A sustainable school created to inspire communication and collaboration and, ultimately, the well-being of our children.
