History

Vittorio Grassi founded the studio in 2005 in Milan, after a long experience in internationally renowned architectural firms.
Over the years the firm has acquired more and more experience and solidity working for both private and public clients.
In 2014 Marco Aloisini became a partner and in 2020 three new associates joined the management team of the firm.
Recently the firm has experienced a notable growth which has been the consequence of the maturation of the whole group, of a new company organization and of the realization of very prestigious projects.
In recent years, the office has completed:

The renovation of the Hotel Melià Masaccio in Milan. Approximately 4,000 square meters of common spaces including the restaurant, the bar, the congress hall and the meeting rooms.
Cassala 22 in Milan, a new office building of approximately 8,000 square meters. The project involves the application of the LEED Gold and WiredScore environmental protocols.
Principe Amedeo 5, in Milan. Renovation and extension of a historic office building. The building is LEED Gold certified and nominated for the 2022 Mies Award.
The Arrow in Rome and 12 October in Genoa, two redevelopment projects with particular attention to the new spatial and technological needs of the offices of the future.
Antica Cà Litta and Romana 19 for Unipolsai in Milan. The project, which is partly residential and partly executive, perfectly combines tradition and contemporary design and has been classified as BREEAM “Very good in use”.
The historic Turin office of the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. A restoration of a 17th century building and redesign of the main agency and the bank headquarters.
The BNL Marco Polo sports club in Rome. A leisure and training center for staff including swimming pool and tennis courts.
The company restaurant KOA ’for Zambon Group in Bresso
The Mirazur, a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Menton in France.

Among the projects currently under construction:

A complex of about 160 apartments in the area of the former Teatro Comunale in Florence for Hines Italy. The project involves the application of the LEED Gold environmental protocol.
A residential complex of n. 80 apartments in Ouled Fayet, in the hilly area of the city of Algiers. with large linear terraces and panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Palazzetto dello Sport of Lamezia Terme, a multipurpose arena with a capacity of 3,500 seats, which extends up to 4,300 seats during concerts and conferences. The project was designed with particular attention to athletes with disabilities and Paralympic sports.
A three-villa complex in Shuwaikh, the exclusive urban district of Kuwait City. The project is distinguished by the fascinating stone facades and the use of sinuous volumes, which play with each other, creating private or shared spaces each time.
The Biancamano 8 project in Milan, which involves the renovation of an office building of approximately 5,000 square meters completely dedicated to co-working and classified according to the BREEAM environmental protocol as “Very good”.

The studio is also very active in international competitions, both public and private, and boasts a long series of victories.

The project for a residential complex of 250 housing units for the temporary stay of the staff of the Ministry of Defense, within the Zignani Military Area in Rome.
The Masterplan of the Military Citadel of Cecchignola in Rome. A new district with 720 new apartments for military families, commercial and sports buildings, services, a kindergarten, and a park with an artificial lake.
The ZIM masterplan for the urban redevelopment of the Ex Maslennikov Area in Samara (Russia) which involves the design of a new district for 13,000 people.
The Olonkholand masterplan, a new cultural center and public park that will be the new strategic heart of Yakutsk, in Eastern Siberia (Russia).
The renovation of the Maspes – Vigorelli Velodrome in Milan, which transforms the historic site of international cycling into a multipurpose sports arena.
The multifunctional complex Les Jardins d’El Menzah in Tunis. A master plan including residences, a hotel, a shopping center and a sports facility.

Vittorio Grassi ha fondato lo studio nel 2005 a Milano, dopo una lunga esperienza in studi di architettura di fama internazionale.
Negli anni lo studio ha acquisito sempre maggiore esperienza e solidità lavorando sia per clienti privati che pubblici.
Nel 2014 Marco Aloisini è diventato partner e nel 2020 tre nuovi associati si sono uniti al nucleo direttivo dello studio.
Recentemente lo studio ha conosciuto una notevole crescita che è stata la conseguenza della maturazione di tutto il gruppo, di una nuova organizzazione aziendale e della realizzazione di progetti molto prestigiosi.

La ristrutturazione dell’Hotel Melià Masaccio a Milano. Circa 4.000 mq di spazi comuni compresi il ristorante, il bar, la sala congressi e le sale meeting.
Cassala 22 a Milano, un nuovo edificio di circa 8.000 mq ad uso uffici. Il progetto prevede l’applicazione del protocollo ambientale LEED Gold e WiredScore.
Principe Amedeo 5, a Milano. Ristrutturazione e ampliamento di un edificio storico per uffici. L’edificio è certificato LEED Gold e candidato al Mies Award 2022.
The Arrow a Roma e XII ottobre a Genova, due progetti di riqualificazione con un’attenzione particolare alle nuove esigenze spaziali e tecnologiche degli uffici del futuro.
Antica Cà Litta e Romana 19 per Unipolsai a Milano. L’intervento, in parte residenziale e in parte direzionale, coniuga perfettamente tradizione e design contemporaneo ed è stato classificato come BREEAM “Very good in use”.
La sede storica di Torino della Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. Un restauro di un edificio del XVII e ridisegno dell’agenzia principale e degli headquarters della banca.
Il circolo sportivo Marco Polo di BNL a Roma. Un centro ricreativo e di formazione per il personale comprensivo di piscina e campi da tennis.
Il ristorante aziendale KOA’ per Zambon Group a Bresso.
Il Mirazur, un ristorante 3 stelle Michelin a Menton in Francia.

Tra i progetti attualmente in costruzione:

Un complesso di circa n.160 appartamenti sull’area dell’Ex Teatro Comunale a Firenze per Hines Italy. ll progetto prevede l’applicazione del protocollo ambientale LEED Gold.
Un complesso residenziale di n. 80 appartamenti a Ouled Fayet, nella zona collinare della città di Algeri. con grandi terrazze lineari e vista panoramica sul Mar Mediterraneo.
Il Palazzetto dello Sport di Lamezia Terme, un’arena polifunzionale con una capacità di 3.500 posti a sedere, che si estende fino a 4.300 posti durante concerti e congressi. Il progetto è stato progettato con particolare attenzione agli atleti con disabilità e agli sport paraolimpici.
Un complesso di tre Ville in Shuwaikh, l’esclusivo distretto urbano di Kuwait City. Il progetto si distingue per le affascinanti facciate in pietra e l’uso di volumi sinuosi, che giocano tra loro, creando di volta in volta spazi privati o condivisi.
Il progetto Biancamano 8 a Milano, che prevede la ristrutturazione di un edificio per uffici di circa 5.000 mq completamente dedicato al co-working e classificato secondo il protocollo ambientale BREEAM come “Very good”.

Lo studio è molto attivo anche in concorsi internazionali, sia pubblici che privati, e vanta una lunga serie di vittorie.

Il progetto per un complesso residenziale di n.250 unità abitative per il soggiorno temporaneo del personale del Ministero della Difesa, all’interno dell’area Militare Zignani a Roma.
Il Masterplan della Cittadella Militare della Cecchignola a Roma. Un nuovo quartiere con 720 nuovi appartamenti per le famiglie dei militari, edifici commerciali e sportivi, servizi, un asilo e un parco con un lago artificiale.
Il masterplan ZIM per la riqualificazione urbana dell’Area Ex Maslennikov a Samara (Russia) che prevede la progettazione di un nuovo quartiere per 13.000 persone.
Il masterplan Olonkholand, un nuovo centro culturale e parco pubblico che sarà il nuovo cuore strategico di Yakutsk, nella Siberia orientale (Russia).
La ristrutturazione del Velodromo Maspes – Vigorelli a Milano, che trasforma lo storico sito del ciclismo internazionale in un’arena sportiva polivalente.
Il complesso multifunzionale Les Jardins d’El Menzah a Tunisi. Un masterplan comprendente residenze, un hotel, un centro commerciale e un impianto sportivo.
